Hi, WinLIRC in conjunction with Girder is great software, but I seem to have hit a strange bug. I'm currently using an IR receiver from a Pinnacle PCTVpro along with a Philips 7 "function" universal remote. Anyhow... I have 6 remote controls defined in my philips.cf file, and no matter what, 2 of the remotes behave strangely if I have all of the remote definitions in the config file. What happens is that one or two of my remote modes will be perceived by WinLIRC to be sending a single repeat message separated by a pause of about 1 second. Depending on the order of the remotes in the config file, different remotes will be affected by the "repeating message" problem. I can attach my remote config file if it would help to debug this issue (starting winlirc with /d spits out no abnormal messages), I currently have removed two configurations from my combined config and 5 of my 7 remote modes are working without a problem (two of my remote definitions are a combined configuration, tv/vcr, so that's 2 in 1, the math does add up). Has anyone seen this happen before? Thanks. |
