Winlame 2010 beta1, beta 2 crashes when starting coding
winLAME is an easy to use encoder for many audio formats, e.g. MP3.

I have an old, but very stable desktop PC (MSI board 6330, K7T Turbo with an AMD Athlon XP 1800+, 1,5 GB RAM, WIN XP SP3). An early version of winlame rc3 0.0.2.0 (year ~ 2002) runs without problems. When I install the 2010 beta 1 or beta 2 version, the program crashes immediately when transcoding starts (input: mp3, output: mp3, 115 kbit/s). When I start my C++ debugger after the crash, it shows an illegal instruction exception.
Hello Siegbert,
Today I released winLAME 2017 beta 1. Please try if the bug is fixed with this version. I guess you don't have the PC anymore, but one never knows :-)
Thanks!
