No. We're simply explaining that an 11.26.01 image is just an older image with apt-get dist-upgrade applied. If you update your packages via discover, you'll get the same result as with a newer image. Do I need to reinstall the system every time an update is released? No. Every month (usually) we release an image update, simply bringing newer packages so that the user doesn't need to download several GB of information using the base version. However, I'm asking because my install still says version 11.25.11 whereas the download being currently promoted is 11.26.01. To see the updates reflected in real time, you must be using the same language you are making the changes to. Please then compress the folder containing the changes and send it to us so we can implement them in the system in future versions. I burned the ISO to a USB stick. It powers on to a boot list. There are several run options, but no install option.

These links are created by the system's persistence. To remove them, you have to look for the icons in the /opt/cyber/powertools folder. You will find a persistence folder in the middle of the directories, and from there you can remove programs that start on the desktop, such as Edge or even the Recycle Bin.

Thumb drive, stick,,, how many names are there for those things. I have read that Grub is in the ISO, and that it will create it's own boot manager and add the Win partitions to it. True? Does it always work? For Linux to boot it is going to need to write something somewhere. Will it use the SYS partition that Win created? After failing to get a complete ISO with two Mozilla derivative browsers, I tried Edge. Edge did not ask where to put it and put it in the boot partition - complete. I used a file manager to copy it to a storage partition, and got a "fail to copy". I tried to drag and drop and got 'file too big for the target file system" - Fat 32. It's interesting that your license didn't automatically activate on the same device. Please send me an email to support@windowslinux.org so I can reset your key. Regarding Android, we tested it on several devices and it's not showing any errors. We suspect your hardware is incompatible.

Well, I downloaded the Winux 11.25.11 iso and did a clean install. Results sadly in the same outcome. As a bonus my license key does not work anymore,saying: the number of devices is already reached for this licence key. Thanks again. This is not standard system behavior. I saw a case years ago where the username contained special characters, causing problems for the user, which was resolved by reinstalling with a normal username. If this isn't the case, I recommend downloading and installing the latest version of the system, as your installation may be corrupted.
