Category: Binutils Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None >Priority: 1 Private: No Submitted By: Cliff Lawson (wrightflyer) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Memory sizes wrong for Tiny88 device Initial Comment: Both the datasheet and Atmel XML file for ATtiny88 - that is: <INT_SRAM> <SIZE>512</SIZE> <START_ADDR>$100</START_ADDR> </INT_SRAM> show that the Tiny88 device has 512 bytes of SRAM. As the base of SRAM in the device is at 0x100 this means that RAMEND is at 0x2FF and that the ram size is 512. iotn88.h wrongly contains: /* Constants */ #define RAMEND 0x1FF the value here should be 0x2FF. In the source for avr-size (that is binutils-2.18/binutils/size.c) it contains: {"attiny88", AVR8K, AVR256, AVR64}, the AVR256 in this should be AVR512 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=520074&aid=2805617&group_id=68108 |
