Hi. First of all, thanks a lot for the project. It is really useful and I plan to use it very soon in my research group.
I have a request, but since Iam not sure if it is not a feature that can be easily obtained, I prefer to post it here, before making a feature request. I apologize if it is a trivial question.
I would like that hypertextual link can be added to the record. In fact, I would like to link to an online version of the paper, or to the home page of an author. But I would also like to "freely" add new links, maybe to other papers/resources that are meaningful. For example, the homepage of a project that is described in a paper.
As a matter of fact, I think that these are 2 requests:
1) (possibly easier?) add an hyperlink to the title of the paper, so that it points to an online version of it
2) (more complex?) each user can add a list of links with a short explanation.
Anyway, thanks again for your work.
Vittorio
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Re. your second post, I'm not familiar with any URL field in the list of _standard_ bibtex entries but, when you import a bibtex .bib file, if there is such a field in the file, you are invited to map it to the wikindx URL field.
I'm assuming you've been looking at v1.1. We're about to release (in a week or two I hope), v2. v1 only allowed the additon of a URL field for web articles, v2 allows this for all resources. In both versions, in any textarea such as notes, quotes, musings etc., you can add as many hyperlinks as you like in the text using BLAH
If you're interested and prepared to do some beta testing and provide feedback I'll happily email the current source code.
Are you Italian by any chance? v2. has the possibility for different languages for all the explanations/text etc. We currently have English and German and are always looking for willing translators....

Hi Vittorio,
Thanks for the complimentary comments.

While v2 is still being prepared you can see it in action and try it out at:
