Hi all, I'm using webmin_1.580_all.deb on Ubuntu 10.04 x64. Primarily I use webmin to manage Unix and Samba password. I've granted user to be able to run only "change password". It works great!! I like it. Except..... it works too great :( Webmin seems to ignore password restriction, both in Unix and Samba. I've setup Unix password restriction such as: min age, history. Using webmin, user is able to change the password immediately, and re-use the same password, while I expect it to be blocked by webmin. But not. Is it because webmin runs as root? Thank you. -- Fajar. http://linux3.arinet.org |
