Hi all, i switch back to V 3.6x. It looks like the fact that this is an OS specific problem. After purge the Browser caches the pop up window one opens, however permanently in the background. I get the window not into the foreground. This first version is still a little buggy….. Jamie and all thanks, for your time. Firefox 4 is out of beta now though, right? On 23/Mar/2011 12:00 John Hinton <web...@ew...><reply_mail.cgi?new=1&to=webmaster%40ew3d%2Ecom> wrote .. Jamie, You might want to grab a copy of FF4, although it is still in beta, but there are a number of 'new' rough edges... Maybe FF 'beta' problems or maybe higher security settings? I notice that running under Webmin, the System Information page is very slow to load if it doesn't time out first and then when it does load, it is a case of 'POP' it's all there. So, all the background checking seems it has to complete before anything is rendered to the screen (os ver checks, package update checks, stuff that normally appears one at a time). The left menu seems to work fine and is there immediately on load, right frame, just a big white expanse. I wasn't going to say anything, as it is still 'beta'. There are a LOT of problems with FF recently. The plugins manager will easily cook a laptop if you're not careful. Open a few tabs with flash on the pages, give it maybe a half hour, and suddenly a laptop turns into a cooker with CPU running at 50-100%. Lots of talk about this if you Google it. Sorry... didn't mean to start bashing what has been my fave browser for years.
