Hello John, thanks for the reply. Good hear somebody had a similar situation. I now know some of the problem is because of the Squid cache now resolved. I have been fairly adept at dealing with apache conf files but I am trying to use the webmin create virtualhost tool to manage the conf. What is frustrating is an out-of-the-box (./configure make install) of apache does not work correctly with a single <VirtualHost> added to the httpd.conf via the webmin create virtualhost tab.
