I don't know if I'm not reading things right, but I appear to only be able to allow users to create new folders to store mail in the following formats: * ~/mail folder * Pop3 Server * Imap Server * Virtual Folders Is there any way to configure the module so that it can create ~/Maildir folders? In the same respect Trash and Sent are still done as ~/Mail/Trash and ~/Mail/Sent. I was wondering if I simply changed "Mailboxes directory under home Directory" to "Maildir" instead of Mail would these start delivering in Maildir format as well or maybe not that easy? I will say I currently have two servers running. 1 usermin server that accesses users mail through Maildir and one that does it all through IMAP. The IMAP stuff is nice, but I can't use the "Delete to Trash" function when I do IMAP at this point. The message is deleted only to be redelivered as a new message. We have recently started the process of converting from the old Unix Password/Shadow stuff to LDAP w/ Kerberos. Along side of that we are able to use Thunderbird to browse the LDAP database as an address book. I was looking at the LDAP settings in Usermin's Read mail module, but I really don't understand them. Is there a way to configure Usermin to also offer a searchable LDAP address book? We currently use global address books to show members a list of staff email addresses depending on their secondary group, but I could easily see a Global searchable LDAP book replacing all of that. We were experiencing a "Perl Execution Array Error" when deleting email, but I updated to Usermin 1.29 last night and it has gone away. Any suggestions or hints please. Thanks a head of time. -- -Jesse C. Smillie "Insert inspirational or witty comment here...." |
