Ah, I see .. Unfortunately, that kind of setup is not yet supported. However, it may be in future, since it seems quite common.
 
I do have a question though - what is the advantage of using several different IPs for name-based virtual hosting, rather than a single IP?

The problem is that we have a mix of name-based and non-name-based, AND 
the name-based are on a few different IP addresses...
