Hello All,
My setup is as follows: Linux 7.1 ("Box-A") is a server that has a publically addressable IP, Linux 7.2 ("Box-B") has a private IP address (non routable 192.168.x.x)and Box-A masqs Box-B's traffic. Both are running webmin 1.000 and are updated for patchs nightly. Webmin on Box-A has a link to Webmin on Box-B (the link is a "Login to Webmin with username") .. so therefore I can manage Box-B from a remote location on the internet.
Sometimes, though, I see that my browser is attempting to make a connection directly to Box-B (which, of course, it cannot becuase it has a private ip address). It seems that webmin on Box-A is "leaking" out the name of Box-B .. Is this supposed to happen? Shouldn't Box-A be the "proxy" for Box-B?
Where I have found this happens is on the Upgrade Webmin "Save & Apply" Button, User Interface "Save", and when clicking on the "Delete" a mail message in the SendMail Module. I have found that the save or delete does in fact happen, but I must manually reload the page.
As I am only getting the digest version of the webmin mailing list, please cc: me on any replys !!
Thanks -
Tim Connolly
