If the 'never use PAM' option isn't working for you, make sure that the password file that webmin reads exists on your system. If you are not using shadow passwords, change it to /etc/passwd instead. The old 'same as unix' option wasn't very nice, because it only kept the password in sync if it was changed from within webmin - that confused a lot of people, so I got rid of it and replaced it with this new option to read the password file directly. - Jamie |
