I upgraded Webmin from version 1.831 to 1.870 today. Previously I could view and modify options on the Edit Web User page (reached by clicking on the Webmin Users link on the main page, and selecting a user) by clicking on one of the links like "Security and limits options" and "User interface options"; the link would run a bit of javascript to display/hide the options in that box. This worked fine in version 1.831, and I was using this without issue today, before I upgraded.
Unfortunately, the options no longer respond to clicks in the browser; I tried both Firefox ESR 52.5.2 (my normal default browser) and Internet Explorer 11.125.16299.0; clicking on the links in either browser no longer expand the options in the boxes, but now do nothing.
This prevents the user-specific Webmin options from being viewed and modified in the browser, and thus limits the usability of the software. Will you please look into this and provide a fix as warranted?

What theme are you using?
There's a bug (fixed in the 1.871 devel release) that could cause this when using older themes.
I'm using the Gray Framed Theme. The same lack of functionality happens with the Authentic Theme and Caldera Theme. (However, it's been years since I've used any other theme, and I'm not sure what changes I should expect to see between the themes, but there's little difference that I can see. I'm not sure that the themes are changing fully when I select a new one click on the Change button; even logging out and restarting Webmin doesn't seem to have the themes change much.)
If you aren't see a difrence between themes (especially Authentic), then something else is going awry. You do need to make sure you reload the page fully when switching especially between themes that use frames and themes that don't, because the browser will cache a bunch of stuff.
But, Authentic is a dramatically different looking theme from any prior theme...so you definitely will see a difference. If you don't see a difference, then your theme hasn't changed. And, I've confirmed this problem does not happen in Authentic.
