since the update to 1.870 I very often receive the message "Connection Error" can't establish a connection to the server. Than I have to reload the page and it will work again for a few minutes.
I had a similar problem. I upgraded to latest developer versions, but it not solved. the possible solution:
you need to use the hostname in the url. Different url make this problem. (sorry for my bad engllish).

What do you mean by different URL?

This issue finally has been fixed on 19.20-beta5 and onwards.
