Hello, I've gone back and forth between several accounting software (webERP, Peachtree, LedgerSMB, etc.) but I prefer and trust webERP the most. The main reasons I have trouble staying with webERP are: 1. For years, I've been asking about carriage returns in the narrative section. It looks like that has been fixed but now the other text areas such as the invoice comment text still does not recognize carriage returns. 2. There doesn't seem to be a way to specify a due date on the invoice. I see you can specify the payment terms but there are some cases when a due date needs to be specified and it may not always be the same so it should be editable on each invoice. I don't understand how this is missing. 3. Being able to edit an invoice. I understand the "correct" method is to credit the invoice then issue a new invoice. I also understand that many companies would not want this feature. Maybe a better way would be to have a method to clone the invoice so it wouldn't have to be entered all over again. Well, #1 was the most important issue. I can work around #2 even though it wouldn't look too professional. I definitely want to try out the version in SVN. I'm eager to see what webERP will eventually become. So what's my question? Is there any plan on being able to add a method to specify a due date on the invoice? Thanks. Richard Hernandez |
