I will hopefully this week have time to put together a more specific set of rules based on the overall prototype description I mailed some time ago. Together with this I would like to put in some basic units. I envisage these as being: Standard Infantry - Riflemen - low firepower & range, mediocre CAF, get the idea? Heavy Infantry - Support troops - higher firepower & range, -ve CAF Shock Troops - Assault unit - no firepower, high CAF, possible faster move? APC - Personnel carrier - no firepower, zero CAF, carries units fast Battle Tank - Large cannon gives one Armour Piercing shot, plus some other firepower Howitzer - Artillery, gives barrage & artillery special effects Assault tank - Small carrying capacity, no firepower, has a bit of CAF I have intentionally not included any war machines (as they will be harder to code we should leave them for now) or special troops like psyches. If people think any of these are too complex for the first generation, or that I have left out critical units, please say so soon so I can work on them as well.
