[waimea-users] KDE style systray broken in 0.4.0?

hi. waimea is very cool. i've been pounding on it for a while and only
one crash!
    
i'm using waimea 0.4.0. dock apps like "gkrellm -w" and "wmdrawer"
work just fine. but a couple of apps i have that use the KDE3 method of
declaring themselves to go into the system tray don't dock (in fact,
they don't even map).

glancing at the 0.4.0 source, there seems to be a fair number of
references to the magic KDE atoms and the systray.
    
so, is the code incomplete or should i start some serious debugging?

ps: actually, it's not just programs that do KDE-style docking. gabber,
which claims to do both gnome/kde status docking also doesn't get
something put in the dock...
