Sourceforge is having CVS capacity problems at the moment. They claim that it should be fixed real soon. Meanwhile, the best solution is to persevere, as they are letting a small fraction of the anonymous cvs requests through. The best time to try is when America is asleep - I find 9am GMT pretty good. You could try running a script that attempts to download every few minutes until it succeeds. If you have no success, contact me tomorrow and I will do a download for you (It will be not updatable with cvs however.)
