Hi, I'm looking for some advice on extending the osl_harris corner detector in the oxl library to a multi-scale detector. I've been playing around with it a little, but wanted to see if anyone who has worked with the code might have an opinion on the "right" way to do it. I was going to make a subclass harris_scaled, but the original doesn't appear to be set up for subclassing and I don't want to modify library code. I was experimenting with iteratively applying a Gaussian and running the basic detector after each smoothing run, but I must be using osl_create_gaussian or osl_convolve inappropriately because after smoothing the image is very noisy -- all-black regions that should stay black are not and other regions appear noisy, not smoothed. I'll keep playing with it and probably figure it out, but if any veterans have any helpful tips, they'd be appreciated. thank you, Nick Hurlburt __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
