Hi folks, 

I am willing to co-chair vnl  should such a position exists.   The reason is that I am afraid I would not have enough time to commit as the lead maintainer.   On the other hand,  I am willing to work with the lead maintainer and take over a portion of the responsibility.  

I do not know if this has been done before and just thought it should not hurt to ask.  :-)
