I just did a quick test and was unable to reproduce the problem you describe. I’m wondering if it might have something to do with the way the link you’re putting around your logo in your custom template is being generated. If you’re able to reproduce the problem in the stock theme, please give step-by-step instructions on what to click in order to make it happen. If you’re not able to reproduce the problem, please share your logo HTML from your template and I’ll see if I can suggest an alternative to avoid this problem. Subject: [VuFind-Tech] New Items Search I’ve recently brought up a new VUFind 3.1.3 implementation (http://rsdiscover06.hsp.org). In staff testing, we’ve found that the New Items search is not always behaving as expected. It is configured to use Solr in our searches.ini. After you perform a New Items search (which works fine), the system sometimes continues to filter for new items indefinitely. Once this happens, there seems to be no way to turn off the filter, except by manually editing the URL. To be specific, if I perform a New Items search and then click on our logo to go back to our splash screen, and then perform a blank search, the filter is retained. However, if I perform a new search by keyword, or even perform a blank search from the New Items results, the new items filter is cleared. Has anyone else seen this problem? Any solution?
