[VuFind-General] Facet sorting and hide of single results at facets

Hi there,

I do some closer investigation at JIRA, newslist and code, but I can't
detect any hint to any further manipulation of facets as following
described.

For our catalog https://katalog.ub.uni-leipzig.de based on VF1 we
implemented divers features for facet manipulation.

1) We add an configuration to have the possibility to sort each single
facet by index or count. We have single facets as Branch library or
Subject therefore we prefer sort by index and other as Collection where
we use a sort by quantity.

2) Another configuration to suppress/hide single values from a single
facets. We have divers cases as to ignore "not assigned" result or
sensitive collections where we don't like to let the user search directly.

So I would like to ask if there have been similar implementations in VF2
already which we can use for these purposes? And if not, if such
additional configurations are wanted to implement for VuFind2?
