I'm loading this data directly from MARC, but things don't move around very much at Villanova, so it hasn't been a big problem - I'm sure you'll get more useful feedback from some of the consortial users!

Is everybody that loads "institution", "building" and "collection" values into Solr for faceting pulling those from MARC (e.g. 952) data at load time?  And then again for each update?  Has anybody tried an alternative process, like:

  *   iteratively using the driver to pull items w/ locations (probably best for just updates) or
  *   or pulling separately from CSV?
I really don't want to have to export, receive and reprocess MARC data just to detect that a floating book is at a new location.
