Did you uncomment the format line in import/marc_local.properties? By default, the format facet is indexed using SolrMarc's built-in getFormat method. In order to override that with a custom Beanshell script, you need to specify that in marc_local.properties. If that's not the problem, let me know and I'll offer more suggestions! - Demian ________________________________________ From: Zoe Friedlander [zfr...@os...] Sent: Friday, March 09, 2012 7:31 PM To: 'vuf...@li...' Subject: [VuFind-General] problem that format type p is mapping to Kit instead of Mixed Materials (or something else) Hi, I am currently running Vufind 1.2 on Windows (on a dev server) but downloading 1.3 as I type. I see I am not the first person to have issues with type mapping, but I can’t figure out how to implement the changes others have succeeded in making. I tried a very small edit in format.bsh from this (under //check the Leader at position 6) case 'O': case 'P': result.add("Kit"); break; to this case 'O': result.add("Kit"); break; case 'P': result.add("Mixed Materials"); break; but it doesn’t seem to have any effect—I’ve reloaded the records, reindexed, restarted vufind, restarted apache—yes, I’m just stabbing around. Is this fixed or fixable in 1.3, or is there an easy way I can fix it in 1.2? I looked at Servilio’s changes in his format.bsh, and also Demian’s changes, but I guess I’m not doing whatever I need to do to get format.bsh processed.
