Hi all, let me first shortly introduce myself because it's my first request to the VuFind tech list. My name is Günter Hipler and I'm working for the Swiss project 'swissbib' - a discovery service providing the library items of all the Swiss university libraries and the National library (around 16 Mio docs) www.swissbib.ch www.swissbib.org As presentation component we are using TouchPoint (OCLC) / SearchEngine is FAST We are definitely in the process to build up a second (main) search engine infrastructure based on SOLR/Lucene (productive at least for a limited set [~5 Mio] at the beginning of the next year and hopefully based on Lucene 4.0). And at least an alternative for the search component might be possible. This is why I'm 'glimpsing' into the VuFind Code ;-) Because I'm more the 'Java guy' - a short question related to a problem I stumbled upon while playing around with the code. (Im using SOLR 3.3 / 3.4 as index engine) In Solr.php:_select I have difficulties using the json response writer $this->client->setMethod($method); $this->client->setURL($this->host . "/select/"); //GH todo //$params['wt'] = 'json'; //$params['json.nl'] = 'arrarr'; which throws an error. Trying to use json as response writer in the browser I get a strange message *** response HTTP 400 *type* Status report *message* _undefined field subtoprero_ *description* _The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (undefined field subtoprero). _ _*** _ about a missing field which is definitely not part of the schema and not part of the Field list parameter. Without this parameter it works fine. Thanks for a hint!
