Thank you Eoghan, exactly the information we where looking for: - marc.properties -> journal_title_facet = 773s - schema.xml -> <field name="journal_title_facet" type="textFacet" indexed="true" stored="true" multiValued="true" termVectors="true"/> - reindex - facets.ini -> journal_title_facet = Journal Markus pointed out, that we could improve this on a more reliant level as ISSN or other ID. Our Institution has four journals, so a searchbox of the type join=OR&bool0[]=OR&lookfor0[]=visit&type0[]=JournalTitle&OR&lookfor0[]=Horizonte&type0[]=JournalTitle&OR&lookfor0[]=Zeitlupe&type0[]=JournalTitle&... is an interesting option. Thank's again, Stefan ________________________________ Von: Eoghan Ó Carragáin [eog...@gm...] Gesendet: Donnerstag, 18. August 2011 23:03 Bis: Kandera Stefan (PS-CH) Cc: vuf...@li... Betreff: Re: [VuFind-Tech] WG: [VuFind-General] Method Post - additional filter Hi, You'll need to create a new Solr field upon which you can base a facet/filter. For a brief how-to see http://vufind.org/wiki/adding_facets (I think the 2nd scenario most closely matches your needs). Let me know if you're not sure how to proceed. Re hiding the filter from the facets, if you don't add your new Solr filed to the [Results] section of facets.ini, then Vufind won't create a facet group for it. It will, however, show that the filter is applied, e.g. it will give "Other: Visit" as in the second link you gave. I imagine it would be easy enought to hide this particular filter with some tweaks to the tpl file. Alternatively, you may want to investigate the [HiddenFilters] option at the end of searches.ini. Hope this helps. The following search obviously won’t work since there is no « filter[]=JournalTitle» defined: form method="POST" action="http://bibnet.org/vufind/Search/Results?lookfor=&type=AllFields&filter[]=JournalTitle%3A%22Visit%22&submit=Search https://www.pro-senectute.ch/index.php?id=4251 Is there a way to achieve this (maybe in a more simple manner I’m not aware of)? The best would be, if such a filter does not show up in the facets.
