[VuFind-General] Thanks from the NLI

Hi VuFinders,



Just a note of renewed thanks from all at the National Library of Ireland.
We were recently awarded an Irish eGovernment Award in their brand new Open
Source Category for our use of VuFind.



The award was judged not only on the use of an open source package but on
practical participation in an open source project or community, which I
think is what gave us the edge over other nominees.



This is a real testament to VuFind - in addition to the technical strengths
of the product, the strong support & openness to engagement from Demian,
Villanova & the community at large, really makes it a viable and compelling
option for libraries like ours.
