[VuFind-General] vufing using remote server

Hi

 

My vufind installation with local solr working fine. Now I am trying use vufind with external solr which is installed on another server. So I changed following lines in the config.ini

 

engine          = Solr

url             = http://www.servername:8080/solr

local           = c:/vufind/solr

default_core    = admin 

 

I think 'local' parameter' value is not mattered when we use external server. So I didn't change it.

But When I run vufind now I got following error.

 

An error has occurred

Solr index is offline.

Any ideas?
