Hi Gord, I just finished installing the v1 rc1 on XP about 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure if it's a version difference, but /vufind/change was not something I had to look for at all. I loosely used these instructions : http://www.vufind.org/wiki/installation_windows although I'd installed xampp instead of all the software individually. For the import command line I just pulled apart the shell script : /vufind/import.sh and turned it into a windows command line. The biggest annoyance I had was installing Jetty as a service because of windows paths. In the end I edited the solr configs (<dataDir>) to give absolute paths to each index before the last piece of the puzzle fell in to place. Happy to help if your having any other issues as well, either directly or maybe the tech list is more appropriate if the details get too gory. It was relatively painless as a whole. :) Ta, Greg Pendlebury Electronic Services Officer (Systems Team) Division of Academic Information Services University of Southern Queensland Phone: +61 7 4631 1501 Fax: +61 7 4631 1841 -----Original Message----- From: Gord Ripley [mailto:gr...@tr...] Sent: Wednesday, 12 November 2008 7:14 AM To: vuf...@li... Subject: [VuFind-General] Installation question Hi: I'm the last stages of installing VuFind 0.8.2 for testing on XP. The documentation says that import-solr.php can be found in the vufind/change folder, but it's not there. In fact it's not anywhere. Have I messed up, or is it hiding?
