Hi Sue, I 'm one who's working on this. With help from Wayne Graham, I wrote the Unicorn.php that is distributed with VuFind 0.8. I also wrote a server-side search.php program to go with it, and Tim McGeary and I worked on an analog in Perl, called vufind.pl. If you're Sirsi API-trained, I can share the search.php with you (I want to re-write it, but that's another matter). The Unicorn.php is available via VuFind. If not, I can share "most" of it with you. There's also another way of coding a Unicorn driver that some folks have been working on, but I'll let them chime in if they wish. The results of Unicorn.php and search.php can be seen at http://drewcat.drew.edu/vufind. It's working against Unicorn GL 3.1, PC 4. Also, from people whom I've shared it with, I understand that Unicorn.php and search.php are working at two other sites. So far, just the getHolding and getHoldings functions are implemented (though not without wrinkles and just as a proof-of-concept), and at the moment I have "path problems" with VuFind 0.8.2 that are preventing the Next page links to work once you get to a hits-list page. I'll be happy to talk with you further about this off-list. We are currently running SirsiDynix Unicorn GL3.1 with tentative plans to upgrade later this year. I have read through the information available from the VuFind webpage and noted that implementation of SirsiDynix datasets was "under development". Could I please ask who is currently working on this project and what the state of play is at the moment? Any information would be gratefully received.
