Folks, Anyone running on lzo2 these days who can test some code? My test boxes are all dying (Gifts of legal vmware guest devel images which can run on my 939 host system gleefully accepted (that's a dare for sun.com staff), but do check beforehand.) http://vtun.info/vtun-3.0.1-rfe1602625.tar.gz is a standard vtun tarball, with minor modifications to ./configure and lfd_encrypt.c toward getting lzo2 support working well. Grab it, start a typescript, do a build (rpmbuild-tb should work, as should -ts to get an SRPM for apt-get build-dep) and send me the output? Include, if you would, versions of your OS, your LZO, OpenSSL and ZLib too? Ldd the resulting binary, if you live on the edge. I'm especially interested in cases where it fails completely or where it links lzo1 over lzo2 (which isn't planned yet). No, the vtun2.6/vtun-3 BF enc compatibility thing isn't fixed yet, but if you could test this thing it'd help me put a different problem to bed. - bish Janitor and Fishmonger |
