Jim: Okay, let's start with the ssh command on 192.168.1.2... ssh -L 5900:127.0.0.1:5901 root@192.168.1.103 This command says to: open a Secure Shell to 192.168.1.103 login with user root setup a TCP tunnel with: from local (192.168.1.2) port 5900 on my current machine to port 5900 on machine with name 127.0.0.1 as seen by 192.168.1.103... Now this will allow you to do vncviewer localhost:0 (entry to tunnel) and be connected to 192.168.1.103:1, tunnel exit! That help any?
