Yes, that feature was removed. We were not sure it was a good idea at
all. Actually, it was just a quick way to choose certain combinations of
connection options. I think a better way would be to auto-select
encodings depending on actual connection speed. We'll work in that
direction.

Please describe the change in behavior in more details. I think the
scaling ratio should be saved in both old and new versions.

Well, actually we have written a new viewer (version 2.5). It's not
based on old VNC code. That's why it's different in certain aspects.
However, we are interested to restore useful features of old versions
(although it's possible that we'll implement them differently).
