We were not sure it was a good idea at all. Actually, it was just a quick way to choose certain combinations of connection options. I think a better way would be to auto-select encodings depending on actual connection speed. We'll work in that direction. > By then if we set an window to autosize and resize the window to the > size we wanted, the next time we connect to that server we would view > the connection settings stored. Please describe the change in behavior in more details. I think the scaling ratio should be saved in both old and new versions. > All that seem to be gone now or are hidden? Well, actually we have written a new viewer (version 2.5). It's not based on old VNC code. That's why it's different in certain aspects. However, we are interested to restore useful features of old versions (although it's possible that we'll implement them differently). Thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry for the delay in replying. -- Best Regards, Constantin Kaplinsky GlavSoft LLC ----------------------------------------------------------------- Visit TightVNC Web site: http://www.tightvnc.com/ Follow TightVNC on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/tightvnc ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
