Thanks. I'm following @tightvnc now. Regarding testing with Lion, I'd be happy to run a test for you and if needed find/send the log when I run it. I have used JollysFastVNC (mac application) to vnc to other systems, and also, as a quick test, to vnc back into the same mac. That mac-only vnc viewer did not have any problems when I moved from 10.6 to 10.7 (Lion). When vnc'ing from my mac to my mac, it worked fine (though was not very useful for real work of course) before and after the upgrade to Lion. > -----Original Message----- > From: Constantin Kaplinsky [mailto:co...@ti...] > Sent: Tuesday, December 06, 2011 8:28 PM > To: Alan Carwile > Cc: vnc...@li... > Subject: Re: TightVNC Java Linux client to Mac OS X "Screen Sharing" > > Hello Alan, > > >>>>> Alan Carwile wrote: > > > 1) Can a command line option (or env var setting) be passed to the > > current java viewer so that it will work with Mac OS X screen > > sharing? > > Current viewer's logic for negotiating the protocol version is > incorrect.
