Uninstall and reinstall. We've had that problem with NT4 here and the only solution I've found is uninstall/reinstall. That fixes it for awhile, then you have to do it again. OK, after further inspection, it seems that the service part *IS* working, but when the remote computer is sitting at the Windows logon screen, it acts the same way as if the workstation is locked. Unless a user is logged in, and the workstation is NOT locked, I am unable to connect. It asks me for the session password at the VNC Authentication window, but when I type in the correct password (I've tried it many, many times, so I know I must have typed it correct at least one time), I get an error message stating that VNC authentication failed. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks for your help! Matt --- John Aldrich <JAl...@co...> wrote: > Sounds to me like the service is NOT installed.
