Greetings -=20 I was wondering if anyone out there might be interested in a coming up = with a slightly enhanced 'Tight' auth method, that might pass along a = login id in addition to the password, and save a unique session id = generated by the server. I've got some PAM-based UNIX code for Tridia-like logins; i.e. that can = fork/exec/setreuid dedicated gnome-sessions once someone authenticates, = and am very interested to build out an open-source db-driven remote = access and conferencing portal front-end to a server farm. The session = id would enable bolting up the client to a text chat client, or even = better, an Asterix-capable VOIP client built on = http://iaxclient.sourceforge.net/ . My application is a fairly general-purpose distance learning framework = for agricultural extensions in developing countries, but this might also = be used in any number of remote access or conferencing situations. I can probably handle most all of the UNIX and Java mods, if someone can = help with Windoze; anyone interested? best regards -=20 Chris Nicholas |
