#817 Gnome events to wrong X server with VNC

I'm running vncserver on a SuSE Linux machine with the gnome desktop - not sure what window manager. I've set up VNC to launch the same desktop environment, rather than the default one. Now, from the gnome panel, on the non-VNC session, if I try to launch the application browser, it appears in the VNC session. Applications launched remain in the VNC session. When I try to run the application browser from the VNC session, it stays there.

Annoying, but kind of cool.

It looks like gnome problem for me. Which version of gnome (for example gnome-panel) are you using? I know that newer gnome (I guess 2.20 and newer) has problems when has to run simulateously on multiple displays.
