Debian v12 (bookworm) has dropped RealVNC as default VNC server, and changed it to Wayland VNC (WayVNC).
Since TightVNC latest does not support debian, (only v1.3)
all Debian + Raspberry Pi users are forced to install TigerVNC viewer on their desktops to be able to control their Linux machine from Windows + Mac.
WayVNC can support Tight protocol (3.8), the only problem with the connection seems to be the authentication.
Please add this feature, so millions of RPi + Debian users can use TightVNC, like before bookworm!
Thank you very much in forward.
If anyone else finds this thread.
UltraVNC 1.5.0.4+ dev version is now able to handle WayVNC protocol too, so connect to RPi OS with it's viewer.
