Configuration :
The Application log is filled with the following event :
EventID 1000, Application Error
Faulting application name : tvnserver.exe, version : 2.8.63.0, timestamp : 0x6110f829
Exception code : 0xc0000005
The error occurs 10 to 20 times per day.
I have the same error (as you have detailed in in a reply to post #1565). I put some information from the log files in a reply to that post.
For information the problem doesn't occur under Windows 7 Pro (with SP1).
On a site I found some advises to try to correct 0xc0000005 error (some access violation) :
but none of this steps did resolve the problem.
Furthermore I have this same error with other software (accounting program) still under Windows 10.
please look for crash.dmp file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\TightVNC
and send it to support@tightvnc.com
