The Windows client fails with "Loopback connections are disabled" message. The MacOS client doesn't have such problem.

There is no setting in the Options or Settings screens to enable loopback connections.

hi!
it should be enabled on the server side.
Configuration -> Access control -> Allow loopback connection

I connect to x11vnc which serves as a VNC server.
x11vnc allows connections without any limitations, and I connect to it from MacOS via localhost without problems.

  could you show the viewer log?
  there are no loopback-related restrictions on the client side
