Clash between TightVNC and Mixed Reality Portal. Once TightVNC is launched everything seems fine, however screen size changes when Mixed Reality Portal is open. Screen initially goes black however desktop being accessed is showing at the bottom (changed scale and scroll down)

Could be doing with a fix for this.
Hello.
You could try to run server with sharedisplay or sharerect option.
tvnserver.exe -controlservice -sharedisplay 1
or another number.
https://www.tightvnc.com/doc/win/TightVNC_2.7_for_Windows_Server_Command-Line_Options.pdf
Or add Extra port with required mapping in Configuration.
Hi Anton,
Just to clarify, this fix would be entering into the Command Prompt on the
tightvnc server P.C the specific command it'd like to create. i.e
sharedisplay

None of these Commands are being accepted.
' tvnserver.exe ' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Hello.
Use full path:
C:\"Program Files"\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe
or
C:\"Program Files (x86)"\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe
Hi Anton,
Leave this with me and I can test this tomorrow.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Stephen

Hi,
Have tried several ways to get this to work but doesn't seem to be
happening.
I have 15 P.C's using TightVNC but only 1 requires the screen to be
scrolled down.
Other 14 are fine however aren't using the Mixed Reality Portal
Entered these into Command Prompt
C:\Users\Stephen Kerr>C:\"Program Files"\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe {
-controlservice } -sharedisplay 1 |
The syntax of the command is incorrect.
C:\Users\Stephen Kerr>C:\"Program Files"\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe
-sharedisplay 1 |
The syntax of the command is incorrect.
C:\"Program Files"\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe -sharedisplay 1
Doesn't support the following command line options
I only have 1 screen so not even sure if this would be the correct command
prompt to use however if it is, it doesn't seem to be allowing me to input
this.
Regards,
Stephen

Hi Anton,
This unfortunately doesn't change anything.

Hi Anton,
Apologies this works fine, I was using this on the host/server P.C. Input
this into client P.C and it works fine.
Thanks for the help!

Hi Anton,
So after a restart the P.C's seem to be reverting back.
Is there a way of saving this code?

The solution seemed to be in the display settings.
P.C was showing multiple displays due to The mixed reality portal.
I've just disabled the top 3 and tight VNC seems to be working fine now.
