When connection to an Siemens plc I get an error : "Error in TightVncViewer: Viewer support only default tunneling" See attachement.
Im using version 2.8.8, older versions (1.3) work correctly. Is this an bug, or can I make an configuration to make this work? Iv unsucsessfuly tried several options.

Works perfect for the Siemens plc. Only file transfer seems broken on systems using TightvncServer

    Is this going to be fixed at some point? I can set up a test bench for you if needed. The attached tvnviewer.exe above works well with Siemens KTP700 Basic HMI.

    We still using TightVNC extensively, keep up the good work!
    
    Any change this will be fixed in future version? Using it in combination with Siemens HMI`s is still a disappointing experience.

Hello Anton,

That would be much appreciated.

We use an SIMATIC HMI TP700, I think Siemens calls the VNC function part of their "Sm@rtServer" : https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/posts/tp700-and-vnc/86179?page=0&pageSize=10

This version should deceive the server and work with siemens more correctly. unfortunately I don't have a PLC for tests
