No

Hi all,
I'm using tightVNC 2.8.5 on windows 7.
I connect via VNC Viewer for Android v. 3.0.0.024226
TightVNC is set to start with windows automatically.

When connecting with VNC Viewer, the server imposes the "basic color combination" of windows 7.
If I shut down the PC via VNC Viewer in the following restart (and later) it is not possible to restore the "standard" WINDOWS 7 color combination acting on the desktop PC.

I found that this behaviour persists disregarding if I restart the PC several times, BUT if I connect again with VNC Viewer and DISCONNECT vnc viewer from the server, the correct color combination is set back in the desktop.

I use often the VNC viewer to shut down the PC and this behaviour seems not really reasonable to me; the workaroundd is to connect and disconnect on the following restart of the PC but it is a little annoying.

Bye and thanks for the TightVNC server.

Hello. Please try to uncheck "Hide desktop wallpapers" checkbox in server configuration.

Done. Of course the wallpaper was sent to the viewer, but the bug is STILL present.

As soon as I connect to the server, color combination is forced to windows 7 basic, then I shut down the PC via viewer, I restarted the PC and now the color combination is STILL frozen in basic.

The workaround still works, connecting and disconnecting the viewer restores the standard color combination of windows 7.
