Hello,
Vidiot allow to use still images, of course.
Even an animated apng or gif is accepted (cool !) but it loose its transparency (not cool !), though a classic png file correctly manage the transparency.
The workaround for now is to import all the pngs of the animation separately, but that is not possible to manage them correctly after that ;
The solution could be :
1) manage the transparency of the animated image file
or
2) allow to create a block clip "group of images" with separate PNGs files (add all a folder with alphasort...?),
with a property for the timing of theses inside frames,
and then access the properties of the block like it's only one clip (and keyframes !).
Another linked feature request :
allow a chromatic transparency (like for "green screen") as a clip property
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I've added tickets for both these. I'll try and fix the transparency first (I know the cause, it was a choice at the time to make implementing 'titles' easiest).
