Actual audio to be used as tape input
Versatile Commodore Emulator

I find this so "natural" as a feature, that I wonder if it is already in and I just can't find it. So I'll form this a feature request.
VICE (all tape enabled emulators under it - which I suspect are ALL of them), should be able to use as tape input, actual audio-in of the host and/or actual uncompressed audio (WAV?).
This way someone can load actual tapes directly (as is possible to attach a 1541 drive?), or even play-back (and load) "The CD Games Pack" (a CD with C64 games).
Any chance seeing this happening?
we discussed this before and came to the conclusion that we do not want to do this. converting dumped tapes into a proper emulator format is a much better idea.
Seems to be a duplicate of feature request #271
