I am using VICE 2.4.18, rev 29533 compiled with --enable-static-ffmpeg and --enable-gnomeui. This version of VICE can be used to record a video using the "Save media file…" command of the "Snapshot" menu.

In x64, if I disable the border using Settings -> VIC-II settings -> Border mode -> None and then try to record an FFMPEG video, VICE crashes. See attached for the console output.

The crash occurs when using the AVI container format and the FFV1 or MPEG4 codecs. Possibly it also occurs with other container formats and codecs; I didn't test them. It may also occur with other emulators besides x64; I didn't test those either.
