The USB joystick adapter from the Sinchai-Shop that works perfectly under Windows does not work correctly in the Mac ports of x64 and x64sc. The Fire button is detected, but the directions seem not be detected at all. Using the "Detect" button in the Joystick GUI when one of the axes is held to max or min leads to the respective axis being switched to "disabled". When using a generic Joystick testing application under MacOS ("Controllers Lite") all directions are shown correctly, so it is a Vice specific problem.

Tested with the Vice 2.4 binaries from http://vice-emu.sourceforge.net/macosx.html as well as with a nightly build from 14th March 2015.

I tried this adapter on MacOs Monterey 12.1 with Vice 3.6. The directions work, but the fire button shows a blue light in Vice when pressed, instread of a red light. But fire is not detected by any games.
