#2243 Swap joystick broken?

I use the numpad as joystick and it shows my keypresses as the second joystick in the little widget in the lower border. All fine.
Chosing "Swp joystick" should make the indications show in the first indicatior, shouldn't it? In my case, it doesn't. Selecting from leftkclick on the widget, via the ALT+J keypress and via the menu that shows after left click on the widget and selecting "Configure joysticks ..."
HOWEVER - it does maifest as swapped as it does return the garbage ("2", "z", "<=" and space) in one of the alternatives. So I guess the issue at hand is only that the keypresses doesn't manifest as swalled in the widget/direction indicators.
