#1976 The window dialog texts are very hard to read on dark theme on Windowns

Thanks for the dark theme, overall it is a pleasant experience however the text in some areas are very hard to read due to low darktext contran and the contrast between dark and light. Please see the image to see the issue

I use Windows 11 x64 with dark system theme. Vice 3.8 GTK

That looks like an upstream (ie GTK) bug. Maybe even a bug in the theme? I didn't know we even provide a dark theme :)

I did not set anything on my end to set the dark theme up. I assumed Vice had a support with dark theme. I will take a look at GTK side then.

I recently got a machine with Windows 11 (please don't ask), I've set the theme to dark (both general and "apps") and I cannot get any VICE binary to use a dark theme, it just uses the default light Adwaita theme.

Maybe related or not: when I use Super+R to pop up the run dialog, that (windows-native) dialog is still using the (classic) light theme, so this could be MS's usual quality.

I could not reproduce this, couldn't even get Gtk to actually use a dark theme on Windows and OP hasn't responded in three months. So: yes.
