I am a fairly new user of Veracrypt and have a basic (I assume) question. How do I back up to the cloud so that the backed up files are encrypted? I backed up an encrypted file from my Veracrypt volume to iDrive, went online to see the file, restored it to my unencrypted disk drive, and the file is unencrypted. I would like my backed up files to be encrypted. How can I achieve this and verify that the backed up files are actually encrypted in the cloud? For that matter, how can I verify that any file in my Veracrypt volume is encrypted? Thanks for any help.

Hello, I recently joined the forum and kinda working on this angle. Was wondering if you were able to get this addressed? Veracrypt secure container backed up to the cloud is what iam working where we use block level sync to address Veracrypt's shortcoming of syncing the whole container. Any feedback would be most appreciated.
